Celebrate July 4th at Fireworks on the Water in Columbus

Join the Columbus community for Fireworks on the Water on Friday, July 4, 2025, at the Stennis Lock & Dam East Bank. This free, family-friendly event features live music, local food trucks, and complimentary children’s activities, all set against the scenic Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.

Gates open at 5 p.m., with a special flyover by the 14th Flying Training Wing honoring our military before the fireworks begin. As night falls, enjoy a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the river in a patriotic celebration of community and country.

Presented by Visit Columbus and local partners, the event also pays tribute to active-duty service members and veterans. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Parking and entry are free, but early arrival is recommended for the best views.
